Stable Boy Stable Boy

Fantastic game! The mechanics were really well done, and the general feel of questing was very fluid and simple, which made it easy to enjoy. Although the controls threw me off for a bit in the beginning, once I got used to them I was really able to immerse myself in the game.

Also, the music in town is ballin. You really ought to have your friend upload it to the audio portal or somewhere for download/purchase! I keep coming back to this game just to listen to that tune.

Decent

A good, decent game, but ultimately it isn't very challenging. The artwork is nice, and the controls are easy enough. The game just isn't that tough. I think you need to maybe ramp up the difficulty more early on.

Also, you should probably work on your grammar. I know it's usually not a big deal, but on a game, typos and poor grammar just make the game seem less professional.

Not terrible!

Obviously, this is a pretty simple flash, not too much to be said of it. Assuming you are only really looking into Flash as a programmer, this is still a solid start! Obviously, it could use some more interesting graphics, and the image of Goku on every page is fairly dull.

Also, the buttons have awkwardly large hitboxes, so they can be clicked on when you aren't actually over the button, but yeah.

Keep on working on making more and more complicated stuff, and you might be making some impressive stuff sometime soon!

I should also mention that I know that putting your work out for others to view and judge is a tough thing to do, so I'm being pretty nice for this review. :P

Haha. Thanks for your support. :) Since I'm 13, I'll probably spend more time with Flash and get done with what I can. :P Hope you'll enjoy my flashes in the future.

Phenomenal!

This is a truly incredible flash game... the amount of 3D aspects in the art and gameplay is deceptively well done. The overall color scheme is fantastic; very appealing, and very unique. The music choice is also fantastic, it really creates and entire atmosphere for the game that just meshes together beautifully.

My complaints, however, is that this game seems like it was made simply to be a one time play sort of game, with no save features, or advanced UI or anything of that sort. In addition to that, the game is a little too easy, but not so easy that it takes away from the game. However, if there were more puzzles in the game, more than just click-click-click-win, it would also be much more appealing.

And, finally... it's too short! Such a beautiful game with such a fun and unique game concept, and all the work that clearly had to have been put into it, it deserves to be much longer! Honestly, if there was a solid hour or 2 of gameplay, this could easily go onto any console online marketplace and earn a decent amount of money!

I give this an 8 out of 10 only because of the shortness of the game, but with some longer gameplay, this could easily be one of the best flash games I have ever played.

Pandemic II Pandemic II

Lame

This game is really fun, but Madagascar is a real problem... I could never get the disease to spread to Madagascar before they shut down the ports, and when I finally had my disease start in Madagascar, they took so damn long to finally send a ship out that the rest of the world started closing it's ports and borders before it could get everywhere.

This game is really fun, but it really needs to have the way the world reacts changed up a bit.

Basic Movement Problem...

I'm pretty much completely new to scripting in Flash, but anyway...

I used your code and tutorial for basic movement, but my problem is that after I put in all the code, make the symbol, name it 'character', and do everything as the tutorial instructs, I get several error 1120's;

1120: Access of undefined property onEnterFrame.
onEnterFrame = function () {

1120: Access of undefined property _root.
_root.character._x += Key.isDown(Key.RIGHT)*speed;

1120:Access of undefined property Key.
_root.character._x += Key.isDown(Key.RIGHT)*speed;

That is to name just a few, I'm sure you get the idea. It gives me the error 1120 for each command to press a button to move, saying Access of undefined property _root and property Key.

Please help! I am really lost in all this stuff, and can't seem to really get a strong foothold. Please PM me with any solution you might have... Thank you!
